One day after a deep cleansing cry at my last spiritual practitioner session, a peace settled over me. As usual, I spent another Saturday alone but I was okay. Loneliness did not haunt me. I remembered something that Joan said during our session, “Perhaps the quick attachments you develop is really a desire for a deeper connection with yourself. A yearning to feel one with God.”
Joan was right. I feel it in my soul.
